Thank you for posting this! I switched from Firefox to Safari because I liked its speed and rendering better (and still do), but the apparent lack of this feature has been a major drawback.
I wondered whether you know of a list of all hidden Safari settings somewhere?
@Claus Conrad you should try Glims. It may not give you all settings, but at least some of them.
Great hint – thank you! Just trying Safari 4 beta and it rocks. I think with the Firebug like feature “web inspector” and the Safari Adblock plugin it comes quite close to my needs. The only lacking thing is the implemented ftp client.
