Having just finished Becoming Steve Jobs, I was looking through my to-read list on Goodreads, and decided on The Martian by Andy Weir as my next fiction. I have heard lots of good things about it, and given that I want to read it before the movie comes out later this year, it was an easy decision.
I can’t believe how fast 2013 has come and gone. Looking back at my post history, one could assume that it has been a slow year. A lot of things have happened over the course of the year though, but blogging has not been one of them. A major highlight is that I quit my old job and am now working in a startup called Unomaly.
2014 is going on its second week and what could be a better fit than changing the website appearance yet again, now sporting a custom version of the brand new Twentyfourteen theme. The unnecessary widgets and the black sidebar have for instance been removed, which will hopefully put more focus on the main content.
I have also promised myself to take some time to watch more movies, which means that I will probably revive ye olde movies category from the deep trenches. It fits quite well in the new theme, and the movie posters look particularly gorgeous on the retina screen of the iPad Mini.
The only thing which needed some tweaking was the gallery page, which showed all photos from all albums by default. I narrowed it down to just show the first row from the album in the list, and the full album is shown once opened.
If you have emailed me or added a comment on a post here lately, you have undoubtably seen my lack of response as of late. Things have been crazy busy so I have had to prioritize other things, but I am starting to catch up with the website and all questions now.
Stay tuned for a response if you sent me a support question regarding one of my plugins or guides.
If you have contacted me lately or asked any questions on one of my posts and still haven’t received a reply, I will go through everything during the next few days. I have been traveling a lot, and I have tried being as much offline as possible during the summer.
