This website is now accessible using IPv6

You may have heard of IPv6 and the World IPv6 Day, which has just come to an end. Things seems to have gone quite smoothly for everyone involved, which is excellent news!

I have enabled IPv6 for my domain as well, which means that you can browse this very website using your new and fancy IPv6 connection! It is of course running dual stack, so all IPv4 users will still be able to access the website.

The other feature is the inclusion of the new Send button available from Facebook. When enabling this new button in the settings, it will show you a new button alongside the old Like button.

This new button makes it easy to privately share content to friends and family without having to post it on your public wall for everyone to see.

Suicide bomber kills himself in Stockholm

During Saturday afternoon when people in Stockholm were busy buying christmas gifts and getting ready for the holidays, a man suddenly blew himself up with a pipe bomb in the middle of a crowded street. This lead to bystanders being shocked and probably developing hearing disabilities.

Ten minutes before the bombing, an email sent to media and the Swedish security police, addressed to “Sweden and the people of Sweden”, and referred to the Swedish soldiers in Afghanistan and the paintings by Lars Vilk portraying mohammed as a dog. The message said:

Now your children, daughters and sisters will die, like our brothers and sisters and children are dying.

Witnesses to the event claim the bomber was yelling something in Arabic just before the bomb went off. The bomber was found dead in the snow together with a red backpack containing six linked pipe bombs, but fortunately, only one of them actually exploded, only causing damage to himself and no innocent people got seriously hurt. The bomb unit was called to the place of the event, and large parts of the area were cornered off.
