WP Facebook Like 1.5.1 released

WP Facebook Like 1.5.1 has now been released, containing two new features among other bugfixes. It is now possible to disable the like button by creating a custom setting for that specific post or page and setting wpfblike to false.

The other feature is the inclusion of the new Send button available from Facebook. When enabling this new button in the settings, it will show you a new button alongside the old Like button.

This new button makes it easy to privately share content to friends and family without having to post it on your public wall for everyone to see.

I set up the plugin on one of my sites and the behavior of the Send button on the front page is a bit strange. Well, it’s the box that pops up when you click the Send button.

A part of the box goes “under” the next post:

But it’s fine on individual posts.

Maybe it’s just the theme for this particular website but I thought I would just give you a heads up. Maybe there is something you can do to make sure this doesn’t happen.

    Cheers.

I just started getting this error message with your plugin, how do I fix it?? “You failed to provide a valid list of administators. You need to supply the administors using either a “fb:app_id” meta tag, or using a “fb:admins” meta tag to specify a comma-delimited list of Facebook users.”

There is so much clutter in the plugin list, but I finally found yours. What a pleasure. And, I was about to request a way to turn off the facebook like on specific posts where it’s inappropriate — and, voila! Thanx greatly.
